Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Your privacy matters to me. This page explains, in plain words, what information this website collects, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible

Lazaros Giagkitzoglou, photographer and filmmaker, Greece.
Email: info@lazarosgiagkitzoglou.art

2. What I collect

When you send me a message through the contact form: your name and email, and, if you fill them in, your phone number, event type, event date, location and your message.

Like every website, the server automatically records some technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running properly.

3. Why I use it

Only to reply to your message, send you my availability and a quote, and arrange a possible booking. I don’t use it for advertising or newsletters, and I never sell it or pass it on for anyone else’s purposes.

Legal basis: replying to your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the technical information, my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who else handles it

These companies act on my behalf and may store data outside the European Union (for example in the USA). Such transfers are covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long I keep it

If we don’t end up working together, I delete form messages within 12 months at the latest. If we do work together, I keep your details for as long as our collaboration needs them and as long as the law requires (for example for tax purposes).

6. Cookies

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising pixels. It only remembers, in your own browser, the language and the theme (dark or light) you chose, so they stay the same next time. This is never sent anywhere. The fonts are served from this website itself, not from third parties.

7. Photos on this website

Photos are published with the consent of the people in them. If you see yourself (or your child) and would like a photo removed, just email me and I will take it down.

8. Your rights

At any time you can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how it is used or receive a copy of it, and you can object to its use. Just email info@lazarosgiagkitzoglou.art and I will reply within one month.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can file a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

9. Changes

If anything in this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
